At less than half the cost it is hard not to give this prop a shot.

I am running a 2004 Mercury 4-stroke 50 HP with a Bigfoot lower unit. I have attached a picture of what the manual and service manual spec out for the various prop sizes. I was running the 2nd prop size, the 14x13 on my 17' skiff. By switching to this 13 3/4 x 15, I am giving up low-end torque for higher top-end speed. Before the swap over, I would max out at 28 mph; with this prop, I am able to get 32 mph, a gain for me of 4 mph. The downside is losing some of the low-end power for things like carrying a lot of people or moving a bunch of lobster traps. So, like most things in life, there are tradeoffs. For reference, the 13 3/4 x 15 is equivalent to the 48-77342A33 Mercury Black Max Right Hand 3-blade aluminum propeller with a 13-3/4-inch diameter and 15-inch pitch. The OEM version is 1.5 times the price of this prop, so it is a great value for essentially the same product. The installation was easy, and it included all the parts needed to install it, and it fits perfectly. The prop seems to be the same quality as the OEM, looking to be the same thickness and weight. Is it as durable? That is hard to say; I prefer not to hit anything with it. I would lean towards OEM for durability, but at less than half the cost, it is hard not to give this prop a shot.

Incredible Hole Shot Power and Smooth Plane Handling

I installed this OULEME Aluminum Boat Propeller on my Mercury 115 four-stroke, and the difference in low-end traction is quite impressive. The build quality of the aluminum alloy and the 15-tooth spline hub is great, slipping over the splines snugly with zero loose slop or binding. I drastically improved my boat's hole shot time and added excellent stability when maneuvering through heavy river currents.Installation Time: Replacing the old prop, reapplying marine spline grease, and tightening down the lock hub assembly takes about 15 minutes. If you're looking to buy a new prop directly from a marina parts counter, be prepared to shell out a ridiculous amount of money, OEM part prices are always through the roof. These OULEME Aluminum Boat Propellers are high-quality wheels that perform just as well as the OEM props, the only difference is the price.

A Solid Replacement Propeller That Gets You Back on the Water

Boat propellers are one of those parts you don't think about until you hit something underwater or start noticing performance issues. What I like about this prop is that it isn't marketed as a universal fit-all solution—it provides specific dimensions, pitch, and spline information, which is exactly what boat owners need when selecting a replacement. The aluminum casting appears clean, the hub area looks well machined, and the finish should hold up well in normal freshwater or saltwater use when properly maintained. My buddy keeps a spare prop in his boat because a damaged prop can turn a great day on the water into an expensive tow. This one is sized for a wide range of Mercury outboards and offers a practical balance between durability, performance, and cost. Installation is straightforward for anyone already familiar with prop changes, but verifying horsepower range, pitch, diameter, rotation direction, and spline count before ordering is critical. After inspecting it, this appears to be a quality replacement option for boat owners who want to restore factory-like performance without paying OEM prices. If the specifications match your engine and boating style, it looks capable of delivering smooth acceleration, reliable handling, and dependable service throughout the season
