I ordered these filters to replace the ones I purchased last year ... which were the " Waterdrop" brand. Those worked great, filtering the water supply to my evaporative cooler for an entire season. I thought these might be just as good and possibly save me a bit of money. Boy, was I ever wrong! As far as I can tell these filters are doing NOTHING! After using one of these for just 3 weeks, my cooler pads and Fan cage are now caked with calcification deposits and the calcification is blowing into my house. These filters are GARBAGE and now I have a lot of maintenance cleaning to do on my cooler. Don' t even waste your money.
I fill up 2 55 gallon drums every year for the winter and I have well water where I live so I tried to get see if these would help with the taste of well water and they do. Ty
I use this at the end of my water hose to filter the well water for my small pool. It works beautifully
